- Serkalem is one of the beneficiaries from Sirinka and she has eye problem naturally. When she write a letter she mentioned that she needs medical treatment and her sponsor responded to cover the cost and sent the money. Then she has been getting treatment in local health centers and getting the referral to surgery, the mother says “No!” because she may lose her eye while the surgery is taking place. Then the social workers have been discussing in between the family members and doctors were giving positive hope for her eye healing. But still the families oppose and say no. It is difficult to push her and since she is 13, she can’t decide by herself and the family is making decision. Currently the project coordinator is doing the last option. Also it is difficult to how to communicate with the sponsor who sent the money for her treatment.
Her mother and Serkalem.
- Child Wondimu is a hand cape which is mentally retarded and he is imprisoned at home. Living with mother and no one keeps him. If he goes out he does things destroy so that she wants to keep him in locked class. This is the place she keeps him at the day time and at night he takes him to sleeping place. When it begins, he was keeping silent and staying home; and dropping out school. Then he walks around the city and comes at night time. But, now… when it starts VEA wants to bring him to the Center where the children who mentally ill are getting treatment. But the mother was not willing then; but now she is looking for help.
Please pray for him his mind to be restored and back to his school.

Introduction
In Tigay region, there was war started in November 4, and following that the camp that was serving for 42 children was scattered. Then for four months all communication was blocked and it passed through big destruction in Tigray Region in general and the beneficiaries also pass through hunger, displacement and frustrations.
Details
After four months completed, the banks started working and things becoming settled relatively. Then the four month money for children or for project has sent from Head Office.
Then the project coordinator has started to search the scattered children especially from the camp. He found out that 5 children are in Addis Ababa, 1 child in Gondor, 6 children in Eritrea, 1 in Shiraro, 2 at Mekele and Unknown 9 total 24 out of camp. But, 19 children were pushed to be in other camp. The children at shire were 18 children and they are safe physically but they face hunger and displacement.
Activities
After the children location is found, the staff started distribution/ support for the reachable 37 children. The support was for four month money: after transfer the team discussed and decided for health and food support.
Shimelba (Camp)

The coordinator is trying to reach the 5 children in Addis (there was contact person who met them). The head office will visit them and will develop a story from them after meeting.
